Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA)
Radiofrequency ablation uses controlled heat generated by radiofrequency energy to reduce the size of benign thyroid nodules. It is one of the most established non-surgical treatments for symptomatic nodules and is an excellent option for patients who want to avoid thyroid surgery while preserving normal thyroid tissue.
Microwave Ablation (MWA)
Microwave ablation uses focused microwave energy to heat and destroy targeted thyroid tissue. This advanced technique can efficiently treat larger nodules and selected hyperfunctioning thyroid nodules while minimizing injury to surrounding tissue.
Ethanol Ablation
Ethanol ablation is a highly effective treatment for cystic or predominantly cystic thyroid nodules. During the procedure, fluid is drained from the cyst and a small amount of sterile ethanol is introduced to collapse the cyst lining and prevent recurrence.
Nanosecond Pulsed Field Ablation (nPULSE)
We are proud to be among the first clinics in the United States to offer nPULSE which is an innovative, non-thermal technology that uses ultra-short electrical pulses to target abnormal thyroid tissue without heat. This allows precise treatment while helping protect nearby nerves, vessels, and healthy tissue. Only a very limited number of centers worldwide currently offer this technology.
