Chrissy Andrus, MPAS, PA-C, MSRDN/CD, is a dual-credentialed Physician Assistant and Registered Dietitian who brings a uniquely comprehensive, whole-person approach to endocrine care. With advanced training in both medicine and nutrition, she specializes in helping patients understand and manage complex metabolic and hormonal conditions. Her clinical focus includes diabetes (Type 1, Type 2, gestational diabetes, and prediabetes), thyroid disorders, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), lipid disorders, and obesity, with an emphasis on sustainable, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each individual.
Christine completed her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Franklin Pierce University and holds a Master of Science in Dietetics from the University of Utah. Her background as a clinical dietitian in a Level I trauma hospital provided extensive experience managing patients with diabetes, renal disease, metabolic syndrome, and nutrition-related chronic illnesses. She has worked across inpatient and outpatient settings, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.

In addition to her medical training, Christine has years of experience providing medical nutrition therapy and counseling through her private practice, where she supports individuals with eating disorders, gastrointestinal conditions, and weight management concerns. She is particularly passionate about the role of nutrition in endocrine health and integrates lifestyle medicine, behavior change strategies, and motivational interviewing into her care. Her approach empowers patients with the knowledge and tools they need to make meaningful, lasting changes. Christine is also dedicated to education and advancing the field. She has served as an adjunct instructor at Salt Lake Community College, teaching the scientific foundations of human nutrition and mentoring future healthcare professionals. Her academic and research interests include metabolic disease prevention, improving integration of nutrition therapy in medical practice, and promoting sustainable behavior change to improve long-term health outcomes.
