Brooke Child is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a strong clinical foundation and diverse healthcare experience. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University in 2025, following completion of both her Bachelor and Associate degrees in Nursing. Her clinical training included family practice, gynecology, and urgent care, where she gained hands-on experience in bioidentical hormone therapy, women’s health, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
In addition to her clinical work, Brooke is passionate about education and professional development. She recently served at Western Governors University, where she taught future nurse practitioners at the post graduate level in advanced clinical skills.
Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Brooke spent several years as a registered nurse in high-acuity operating room settings, including serving as a charge nurse. These roles strengthened her clinical judgment, leadership abilities, and attention to patient safety. Her experience collaborating closely with these multidisciplinary teams has shaped her ability to provide thorough, coordinated care.
Brooke’s care philosophy is rooted in trust, respect, and patient-centered communication. She believes in meeting patients where they are, taking the time to listen, and ensuring they feel informed and confident in their healthcare decisions. Known for being hardworking, reliable, and approachable, Brooke strives to create a welcoming environment where patients feel heard, supported, and empowered on their health journey—especially in managing complex endocrine conditions.
